About Client

Sundaram Group is one of the renowned organizations in India operating in Mutual Funds, Housing Finance, General Insurance, IT, Business Process Outsourcing and Retail Distribution of Financial Services. They have nearly 640 branches spread across the country.

Challenges

a.) One of the key challenges for Sundaram Group lay in developing a Learning Management System that could accommodate multiple companies in a single deployment as well as have the capabilities to get integrated with various authentication processes.

b.) All the training processes were managed without an LMS. Hence, there was a growing need to deploy one system to ensure that the training processes are tracked and managed efficiently.

c.) Sundaram group had several off-roll employees. They created such an extensive network of operations that delivering and managing the training of all these associates had become a challenge.

d.) Companies in the Sundaram Group wanted to provide their associates with the knowledge that would in-turn enable them to provide better product demonstrations and recommendations to customers.

Solutions

Violet Infosystems has partnered with Sundaram Group to create Sundaram Gurukulam which would empower the vision of providing quality training to their users. To ensure all types of training content is seamlessly delivered to the associates, Violet Infosystems has deployed following modules:

b.) Personalized dashboards for each Group company to track and manage learning outcomes.

c.) E-learn Module: To deliver the learning through various content types i.e., SCORM packages, Microlearning Videos etc.

d.) Assessment: To track and evaluate the learning outcomes using features that support different assessment and question formats.

e.) Classroom Management: To manage the entire Blended Learning approach on the platform as well as the classroom training sessions with quality attendance management and reporting.

f.) Library: To empower learners by providing and publishing quality training materials that furnish them with up-to-date information related to the products, compliance policies, sales strategies and other relevant processes.

g.) Learning Path : Personalized learning path for different audiences to ensure that suitable training modules and materials are delivered to the intended audience.

h.) Gamified platform with mobile app to reward the learners using game like elements such as, points and rankings on completion of various learning interventions.

i.) Integration ecosystem deployment to minimise employee management interventions (Active Directory and Open LDAP integration.

j.) Allow members to commence learning and train using their mobile phones as per their preferences.

Results

Entire multi-tenant architecture built as per the requirement was deployed on AWS Cloud with necessary authentication systems. One of the leading HRMS system was integrated with VioletLMS for syncing user data on a periodic basis to ensure that all the users are up-to-date in the system.
